Outside Sales Engineer

Outside Sales Engineers play a key role in Vyron's ability to meet company sales and growth goals.  They drive commercial HVAC sales to local contractors, consulting engineers, architects and owners.  Outside Sales Engineers assist customers by providing technical information and assisting in lay out design build projects. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive and promote the specification of Vyron's product lines

  • Become the primary source for HVAC information to their customers

  • Help mechanical contractors lay out design build projects

  • Coordinate sales actives with Vyron's Estimating and Inside Sales Group

  • Understand customer needs and requirements 

  • Create quotations and submittals for the customer

  • Create order status reports

  • Develop new customers and increase sales to existing customer base

  • Assist with training and developing of Inside Sales Group

  • Stay current on any training required by our suppliers

Requirements

  • BS degree in technical area - Mechanical Engineering preferred

  • Strong sales presence

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Willing to work on 100% commission pay

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Self-motivated
