About the event
Join us on Thursday, October 24th for our Critical EnVYRONments Vyron University. Starting at 9am, you will rotate through the three sessions below with lunch to follow. 2 PDH Credits will be awarded for the day.
Cleanroom Design
- Cleanroom classification
- Types of applications - pharmacy (healthcare, production), electronics, etc.
- Methods for maintaining cleanroom classification- ACH, product solutions (hoods vs FFU), HEPA filter location, directional airflow, etc.
- Testing requirements - particle counter, scan testing
Containment Systems
- Why containment is needed
- Common applications
- Test methods - total efficiency vs scan testing
- Equipment application
General Lab Design
- Accutrol VAV lab - Fume exhaust, GEX and supply relationship to pressure target
- Hood design/Lab controls - Integrating sash sensor, occ. sensor, etc.
- Exhaust fan options - How they relate to DNR requirements, ANSI/ASHRAE/ASHE Standard 170, etc.
We will be also featuring manufacturer equipment following the three sessions! This is your time to learn more and ask the experts in an open house style format.
